Saudi Gazette team members celebrate victory after receiving trophy.JEDDAH – Saudi Gazette team emerged champion in the Kia-Al-Jabr Football Championship for Media which was held at The Gym Stadium here recently under supervision of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare. Twelve teams from various media agencies, newspapers and electronic magazines, namely Saudi Gazette, Al-Hayat, Saudi Research and Publishing Company, Urdu News, Al-Madinah, Al-Nadi, Riyady, Al-Wasilah, Al-Watan, Alifalif Fm Radio and Radio Mix FM – fought for honors in a friendly and exciting atmosphere amid great support from fans. The players showed excellent skills and it culminated in Saudi Gazette winning the first position. Al-Hayat came second and Urdu News third. Journalist Alaa Al-Zahrani from Saudi Gazette won the top scorer award. Shadi Zahid, Honorary Member of Al-Ittihad Club, Anas Al-Amry, Chief Marketing Executive in Kia–Al-Jabr in the Western Region, Ahmad Riad, Director of Sales Promotion in Kia–Al-Jabr and football official in the General Presidency of Youth Welfare in Jeddah, handed the cups, gold and silver medals over to the winning teams.
