At least 100 students say they were not allowed to take the Islamic University of Madina entrance examination despite promptly turning up at the venue. Muhammad Al-Arawi, Naif Al-Ahmadi and Ali Alawi, three of the students, said they did not know why they were deprived of a fair chance of getting admission to any of the university's colleges. Abdullah Al-Jemaeli, spokesman of the university, denied any wrongdoing and said that the National Center for Evaluation was in charge of registering the entrance exam students and not the university. According to Al-Jemaeli, the university allowed 50 other students who were late in completing the registration procedures but had met the conditions set by the Center, to take the examination. – Okaz __
