Facebook unveiled its new “App Center” last week, which will be a hub to showcase all of the best social apps from across the web. A post on the Facebook Developer Blog explained that users will be able to browse the App Center and explore app descriptions and ratings before downloading apps. The center hasn't opened for users yet, but developers are reviewing guidelines and submitting data to the hub so their apps can be featured. There will also be an option for developers to submit paid apps to the App Center. Facebook plans that the App Center will be individualized. When users visit the center, they'll be shown the apps that are most relevant to their interests - based on their Facebook activities and friends of course. __
