Ministry of Foreign Affairs is constantly working with security authorities to combat all types of e-crimes posing threat to vital facilities, Prince Muhammad Bin Saud Bin Khalid, Undersecretary for Information Technology Affairs in the ministry, has said. Prince Muhammad warned recruitment offices which depend on e-services or use MOFA's electronic systems against some suspicious websites. These websites, he said, require users to update their information which goes into fake websites, he added. He stressed that caution must be exercised when accessing the website https://visa.mofa.gov.sa for information on work visas. The ministry does not require users to update their information in new windows, he said. The ministry, Prince Muhammad said, is working on a system which helps it double-check the identity of the user by sending him an SMS text message which contains access information. Coordination is being done with the national committee of recruitment in order to update cell phone numbers of the users. __
