Abdullah Shathan, spokesman of Asir Police, told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that the local Civil Defense stated arson as the cause of the fire. After exhaustive investigations, it was discovered that the son had burned the house. Under questioning, the boy admitted his crime and was committed to Abha Rehabilitation Center for Teenagers.
