Gulf stocks closed mixed again Tuesday with the Saudi stock benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) losing 0.17 percent at 7,512.26 points as trading volume fell to a nine-week low of SR9.9 billion ($2.6 billion); and Qatar's benchmark slipping 0.3 percent, down 1.3 percent so far in 2012 as decliners outnumbered gainers 14 to three. However, Dubai And Abu Dhabi indices rose 1.8 percent to 1,670 points and 0.2 percent to 2,505 points, respectively. TASI was up 17.1 percent this year, is consolidating gains as investors await fresh cues. “Now that earnings season has ended in Saudi Arabia, it will take the lead from global sentiment,” said Amer Khan, fund manager at Shuaa Asset Management. Bellwether Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (Sabic) slipped 0.2 percent, Al Rajhi Bank shed 1 percent and Samba declined 1.5 percent.
