Issa has recently started shooting his new TV series “Our Homies” due to be run next Ramadan. The 30-episode series discusses contemporary issues which affect the life of most citizens. The twist comes in the comedic delivery to get the message across to viewers. Al-Issa plays “Maneh” while actor Muhammad Bakur plays “Fayez”. The two men share a common history to add depth to the storyline. Talal Al-Sidir plays “Faisal”, Maneh's physically-challenged younger brother. Inspite of his disability he is immensely successful in life. Faisal helps his friends and sets a shining example that disability needn't prevent someone from being an inspiring force for others. Other key actors in the series include Abdul Aziz Al-Mubad (who plays Abu Maneh) former Miss Lebanon Samah Ghandour and Kuwaiti actress Abir Ahmad.
