Makkah Clock Royal Tower Hotel (MCRTH) has recently opened its new ballroom –– Al-Jiwar, which is both –– glorious and well-eqipped with the world's latest technologies.
The ballroom, housed in Fairmont hotel, is built on a surface area of 2,400 square meters, and can comfortably accommodate 1,500 guests. Its opulent decor, textured walls, glistening marbles and crystal chandeliers are all inspired by beautiful Islamic architecture and design. The ballroom boasts of the world's largest projection screen at 270 square meters, and a unique, systematic theater with 700 seats that open within 20 seconds.
In addition, there are eight translation rooms, a media room that offers advanced technologies for live broadcast, an audio and video mixer, and roving camera monitoring systems, offering an enormous 360 degree views of the entire ballroom.
The ballroom can also be divided into three smaller, completely separate halls to cater guests from all walks of life.Ascending bleachers hidden behind the walls can be pulled out if desired.
For weddings, couples or their families need not get anxious –– for now on-site experts counsel them on all key aspects of the wedding –– fixing dates, receiving guests, refreshments, decorations, menu, etc. Special flower arrangements from preferred floral designers can also be organized on request, and Al-Jiwar's culinary creativity is exceptional. The talented pastry chefs at the hotel are experts at creating delicious customized wedding cakes.
Khaled Yamak, group director of Communication and Business Development at the Makkah hotel told Saudi Gazette, “Al-Jiwar ballroom is a perfect blend of traditional architecture, modern technology, innovation and world class hospitality. We have in essence created a unique and unforgettable experience for our distinguished guests and this will be a key catalyst towards positioning Al-Jiwar as the preferred meeting and function destination in the Holy City.”
The state of the art business center is managed by highly trained and professional staff, who take care of all flawless communication and information requirements. A parking area especially dedicated to the ballroom gives guests easy access to enter and exit. __
