Saudi Gazette CREAM is a young dream that has taken wings to explore its real position among the stars. Dana Malhas, one of the owners of the high-end fashion boutique CREAM, told Saudi Gazette that most of Fozaza's daring blazer collection sold out in the first seven minutes of its launch on Tuesday night in Jeddah. Alanoud Badr, a.k.a. Fozaza, is a Saudi-Lebanese fashion designer, blogger, stylist and consultant. Her latest blazers craze has erupted in the Middle East and is nothing less than a phenomenon. Currently, twitter is abuzz with her presence in the Kingdom as most photographers, artists and bloggers graced the red-carpet event. Walking tall in Louboutin heels and wearing a Birkin on her Ta Marboota Abaya sleeve, Lady Fozaza was a sensational show-stopper. CREAM had successfully splashed Lady Fozaza's image all over Twitter and Facebook during its mammoth marketing push to make way for the sultry diva. Huge CREAM hoardings featuring Fozaza stood proud in corners of the Stars Avenue mall leading to the CREAM boutique. Overwhelmed and brimming with enthusiasm, Malhas smiled and said this was a tremendous opening which took her by surprise. “People were lined up and waiting outside,” she said. Full of praises for Fozaza, she described how the diva is the current hot favorite of the Kingdom's fashionable crowd. Her Rose blazer — pre-owned by American TV personality Kim Kardashian — from the Lady Fozaza collection is on auction on eBay and is currently the talk of Twitter town. Named “Best Local Designer” at the Grazia Style Awards 2012 in Dubai, Fozaza brings more to Jeddah shores than just her cutting-edge style. And CREAM made sure they brought more than fashion to the plate. Pink Camel macarons paved the way for various sweet treats. Lady Fozaza bracelets in bubblegum pink loot bags were some of the most coveted gift items at the opening. What used to be called glamor is now called Fozaza. Hats off to CREAM for doing what they do best: Adding diversity to fashion. __
