An African man died on the spot Tuesday after falling off a mountain in Makkah while his friend was injured and rushed to the hospital. The Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution teams have begun an intensive investigation to find out what made the two men go to the top of the mountain and fall into a deep hole in the ground. Lt. Col. Abdul Mohsin Al-Maiman, spokesman of Makkah Police, said one of the two died immediately after falling right into the large hole while the other kept calling for help until passersby heard him and called the ambulance. “We still don't know if the two men have legal status here or not. The hole was so deep that it took the Red Crescent teams two hours to save the injured man and pull out the dead body of the other.” __
