Tunisian actress Sandy was overjoyed that she was picked to join the cast of the new TV series “Bats,” due to be released in Ramadan. “I'm playing a difficult role. I have dual citizenship; my mother is Egyptian while my father a foreigner. I work with a suspected organization which plans to steal antiquities and other valuables from Egypt. So I betray my country.” The series focuses on rampant corruption for more than 30 years during the Mubarak regime, Sandy said. She gets into a lot of trouble when she was unmasked as a collaborator and her plans fell.
