The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has opened an investigation into a suspicious fire in the archives department of Briman Municipality in the east of Jeddah. Wednesday's mysterious fire completely destroyed the files stored in the department. Two workers and a Civil Defense official sustained minor injuries. Civil Defense dispatched three units to the site in addition to an ambulance. Early investigations revealed that the fire started in the archives department on the third floor of the building. __
