Rufa Mae Quinto has announced she was leaving the entertainment talk show “Showbiz Central” on GMA 7 in a tweet last Sunday. “To all my followers, I wanna say goodbye and thank you (to all who appreciated and watched) Showbiz Central. (I'm now saying goodbye, it's my last week,” the TV host and comedienne tweeted. The move surprised a lot of her fans and friends in the industry. Asked why she was departing the show after 11 years, she answered it was a career move and that she missed not having to work on Sundays. Her co-host Raymond Gutierrez also asked point-blank if she was transferring to another network. She said candidly that she was keeping her options open and any celebrity would want to get a chance to work with other talents. Rufa Mae's next project is the comedy film “Ride to Love.”
