Mazini said he won't ever again play the character of Rugaya, an old woman, because it has typecast him and affected his personal life in this country. “No matter how much I get paid to do it, I won't do it again or play another female character for that matter,” he told an Arabic daily. Because he played the character for so long, Al-Mazini feels producers and directors are not aware of his ability to play other roles. It has also affected his personal life in traditional Saudi society. The actor is working these days on several television projects and is going to act in a new series dealing with youth issues due to be released this Ramadan.
