Moroccan singer Mona Amarsha has slammed rumors that she has been banned from traveling to some Gulf countries, according to an Arabic daily. Furious, she blamed concert organizers for the rumors, adding that she would not respond to such baseless statements. Amarsha was honored last week by Platinum Records Company for her record sales. The Moroccan singer has mastered the Gulf dialect. “I fell in love with this dialect when I was a child. I don't try to sing in other dialects, especially Moroccan because it is difficult for most Arabs to understand.”
