Egyptian actress Olfat Omar is preparing to travel to the US to shoot the scenes of her new film, “Revolution in America.” The actress has just completed shooting some scenes in Egypt. The film talks about the reactions of Arab communities in the US regarding the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions and sheds light on how the way Westerners view Egyptians and Tunisians has changed. “I play the role of a student studying in the US who becomes friends with a Tunisian girl. But later, our friendship ends over disagreement about the revolution,” Omar told Al-Watan Arabic daily. The film is directed by British-American director Michael Antoine and produced by Muhammad Al-Malhi from Jordan.
