The Salafi Nour Party, the second largest Islamic party in the Egyptian Parliament, has rejected rumors that Nader Bakar, media spokesman of the party, has married actress Somayya El-Khashab, reported a local daily. Dr. Yosri Hamad, official spokesman of the party and member of the high commission, said: “I won't allow anyone to tarnish the image of important party members. Somayya is as old as Nader's mother. I don't understand how he would marry a woman older than him.” The rumors started after Somayya and Nader met by chance at a symposium, Hamad added. A similar rumor earlier involved a party member and Sama Al-Masri, the belly-dancer, he pointed out. “We feel like we've been targeted in the media. Some people want to spoil our image by spreading such rumors.”
