year-old student was slightly injured Sunday afternoon during a stampede at Al-Khamisah Girls' High School in Makkah following a small fire that started inside the restroom. Over eight hundred students were sent home safe while the injured student was given first aid inside the Red Crescent ambulance and she left later home with her family. Col. Ali Al-Muntashiri, spokesman of Makkah Civil Defense, said “We have started investigating the causes of the small fire.” Civil Defense and Red Crescent teams rushed to the site of the school after the fire was reported to them.
