The "Best Demonstration of Workflow Design Improvements for a Departmental Clinician" award was also conferred on the hospital for their work in automating the outpatient and physical therapy service lines. King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in both Riyadh and Jeddah bagged the prestigious awards for being the first organization in the Middle East to achieve HIMSS Stage 6 on the HIMSS Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model. Best Demonstration of Workflow Design Improvements for a Physician was awarded to Abu Dhabi Health Services Company for successfully implementing a single Cerner PACS archive allowing the exchange of PACS images amongst all of their facilities. In addition, Best Demonstration of Workflow Design Improvements for a Nurse was presented to Abu Dhabi Health Services Company in recognition for the implementation of PowerChart Maternity and the impact it has on giving nurses more time to spend with patients.
