Siemens Ltd-Saudi Arabia announced that Peter L?scher, president and CEO of Siemens Global, has recently visited Saudi Arabia to congratulate Saudi Aramco on their 75th Anniversary under the theme “Energy for Generations”. During his visit, he presented Saudi Aramco with Siemens Generation 21 scientific boxes as a gift for their 75th anniversary. The discovery box is a worldwide education program created by Siemens composed of 22 experiments on topics of energy, electricity, environment and health that will provide support for pre-school children. It is comprised of experiments in science and technology and provides fun teaching materials. “Today we come to give thanks and refer to ‘Saudi Aramco's core values and the efforts it had made to help promote education”, said Loscher. “Saudi Aramco has always been a vitally important partner with Siemens and the commemoration is also an occasion for Siemens to reiterate its commitment not just to Saudi Aramco but to the Kingdom”, he added. Saudi Aramco signed its first concession agreement in the Kingdom in 1933. Later on Siemens and Saudi Aramco have co-sponsored many projects strengthening their historic ties and boosting their mutual benefits in energy and industry. Through this cooperation, Siemens has ensured technology transfer for the benefits of Saudi Aramco and Saudi society as whole.
