A large number of BIS-ES Dammam schoolchildren's parents and teachers gathered to hear the address of Engr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment (EWOE). He praised the lofty efforts of the school in providing quality education to the children of the Bangladeshi community in the Kingdom. He also echoed his call for his countrymen to honor the law of the host country. He strongly reminded the few troublemakers who try to harm Bangladesh's name that they shall be punished severely. Principal Col. (retired) Saleh Uddin and BOD Chairman Mohd. Wahiduzzaman briefed Hossain about various problems faced by the community and the school. They were accompanied by BOD members Mohd. Asadul Islam Mamun, Aynul Islam, Atiqul Islam, and Usman Siddique. They urged Hossain to help look for a new site for BIS-ES Dammam, which is currently in a rented structure. Hossain, on behalf of the Government of Bangladesh, presented a bus to the students. He also met with prominent community members. The delegation included Dr. Zafar Ahmed Khan, secretary at the Ministry of EWOE; Sheikh Wahiduzzaman, principal secretary of the Prime Minister; Begum Shamsun Nahar, director-general at the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET); Abu Hena, the minister's secretary; and Ambassador of Bangladesh Mohd. Shahidul Islam. The week-long official visit was made at the invitation of Saudi Labor Minister Adel M. Fakeih to discuss bilateral issues. Hossain also met with Governor of Riyadh Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Governor of Eastern Province Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and other high-ranking officials. __
