KATRINA Kaif, who turned 24 on Wednesday, is on a roll with five back to back box-office whammies. The tall British-born star – her mother is British and her father is from Jammu and Kashmir – was only written off five years ago as a goner with her British accented Hindi, but, as it turned out , that's what audiences want. She's now doing radio interviews for her forthcoming romantic comedy ‘Singh Is Kinng' with Bollywood's No.1 star Akshay Kumar, which has every promise of being her sixth hit after ‘Namastey London', ‘Apne', ‘Partner', ‘Welcome and ‘Race.' Katrina, one of eight siblings, all girls, spent her formative years in Hawaii, but later moved to London. She started modelling accidentally when she was in Hawaii at the age of 14. Thereafter she continued modelling in London till she moved to Mumbai, pursuing a movie career. In Bollywood, she's clear about what she's wants to do. “I don't want to go down the road doing serious cinema. I am happy doing commercial films. The fun films give the audience time to escape the monotony in everyday life.” Next comes ‘Yuvraj' a musical extravaganza that has her teaming up with real life beau Salman Khan.
