Okaz/Saudi Gazette DAMASCUS/AMMAN/BEIRUT – King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has issued directives to the Kingdom's embassies in Beirut and Amman to facilitate procedures for the return of Saudi nationals and their families from Syria to the Kingdom after the closure of the Saudi Embassy in Damascus, Wednesday. Ali Awwadh Asiri, the Kingdom's Ambassador to Beirut and Fahd Abdul Muhsin Al-Zeid, the Ambassador in Amman, said all assistance and service will be provided to Saudi nationals as per the King's directives. Al-Zeid said the embassy has received the directives of Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to provide assistance to Saudi citizens coming from Syria and to facilitate their return to the Kingdom. Ambassador Ali Al-Asiri said the circumstances and developments in Syria necessitate exerting more efforts to facilitate the return of Saudi citizens and their families to the Kingdom as soon as possible. As to visas specifying departure points, the Kingdom's ambassador to Beirut said the embassy cannot change the departure point unless it receives clear instructions in this regard. But Syrian nationals can write to the authorities concerned in the Kingdom requesting to change the departure point to Amman or Beirut. __
