International IT conference kicks off at Taibah University

The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, opened Sunday the 1st Taibah University International Conference For Computing and Information Technology.
The conference is being held under the patronage of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Addressing the ceremony, the University's Rector, Dr. Mansour Bin Mohammed Al-Nuzhah, expressed his thanks to King Abdullah for patronizing the conference and for his continuing support to higher education.
He noted that SR5.7 billion have been allocated for the university's projects over the past years. The Minister of Higher Education signed recently a project for the establishment of a SR500 million university hospital with a capacity of 400 beds.
