Mexico, which will host its first-ever G20 Summit in June this year, is working to expand the impact of G20 decisions on other countries and social sectors through outreach activities, Mexican Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Arturo Trejo told the Saudi Gazette in an exclusive interview here this week. He said these outreach activities will be guided by principles of openness, plurality, inclusiveness and transparency. Mexico is trying to promote an intense dialogue with non-G20 countries, international organizations, private sectors, academic institutions, think tanks, youth, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), congressmen, and members of civil society, he said. Talking about the Arab Spring, the Mexican ambassador, who has spent four years in Saudi Arabia, said that change is the element of evolution of all mankind. When some regimes and governments fall, as happened in Egypt, it takes a lot of time and lives to build a new system. __
