Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is seeking to hire 120 Indian pilots for monthly salaries ranging from SR30,000 to SR37,000 plus perks. “The jobs have already been advertised,” said Abdullah Bin Moshbab Al-Ajhar, Saudia's vice president public relations, Al-Madina newspaper reported Sunday. “Saudi Arabian Airlines needs 120 captains for its 320 Airbus, 777 Boeing and cargo aircrafts. Captains will get other benefits such as housing allowances and medical insurance.” Applicants should have 20 years' experience and 2,500 hours of flying as a captain, Al-Ajhar added. Captains must have flown 6,000 hours, 3,500 of which should be as captain, Al-Ajhar said. Saudia needs captains not assistant captains, he pointed out. The advertisements were carried by Facebook and Twitter which were taken from an Indian newspaper. Interviews are set for March 6 to 9 in Mumbai, India.
