The Ministry of Education has sent a circular to the Saudi owners of private schools directing them to enter data for all male and female teachers and those occupying academic positions in the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) website. The purpose of the directive is to implement a Royal Decree which set the minimum salaries of Saudi male and female teachers working in private schools at SR5,000 along with a transport allowance of SR600. The Human Resources Development Fund will contribute 50 percent of the salary for a period of five years. In a letter to directors of education in the Kingdom's regions, a copy of which Okaz/Saudi Gazette obtained, Dr. Khalid Bin Abdullah Al-Sabti, Deputy Minister of Education underscored the necessity of informing all private and foreign schools whether kindergartens, or primary, intermediate or secondary schools owned by Saudi investors to enter the data for those occupying academic posts in these schools through the fund's website and to provide the education administrations with a hard copy. The ministry has said that it holds owners of private and foreign schools responsible for verifying the authenticity of the data on male and female teachers employed by the schools. It emphasized the necessity of informing all male and female private school teachers that they should visit the HRDF website to ensure that they have been correctly registered. __
