Danish and Adil centuries lift Kashmir Stags

JEDDAH — Danish's superb 164 runs and Adil's brilliant 106 powered Kashmir Stags to a mammoth total of 309 for 3 and then bundled out Riyadh Foods for 147 runs to win by 162 runs in the 9th week of Jotun Paints Saudi Cup sponsored by Jotun Paints Saudi Arabia and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
An inspired unbeaten 108 and 2 for 36 by Atta Ur Rahman enabled ARM United carve out a win over Butt Sports which put up a spirited fightback before succumbing to 18 runs. Abdul Raheem's fine all-round show of 3 for 43 and 32 runs enabled Makkah Kings to trounce KAIA by 56 runs. Makkah Eagles surprised favorites Jamoom Tigers helped by another all-round display by Shahzad who took 2 for 25 and scored 55 runs to steer the team to a 3-wicket win. Jamoom Fighters fought tooth and nail through the brilliance of Qasid who scored 60 runs and took 3 wickets for 35 to win against UT Lines by 18 runs. Al-Zafer managed a narrow 14-run win over Pak Makkah due to fine bowling spell by Fouji (3 for 22), Majid (2 for 9) and Samith (2 for 27).

Makkah Kings beat KAIA by 56 runs. Makkah Kings 204-7 (Abdul Raheem 32, Irfan 58, Waqas 30, Usman 24; Javed 3-39, Ahsan 2-33). KAIA 148 all out (Ahsan 35, Majid 25, Zeeshan, 42; Abdul Raheem 3-43, Irfan 2-32).
ARM United beat Butt Sports by 18 runs.

Makkah Eagles beat Jamoom Tigers by 3 wickets. Jamoom Tigers 147 all out (Tauseef 23, Usman Butt 33, Rashid 23, Ismail 20; Shahzad 2-25, Ijaz Malik 2-32). Makkah Eagles 150-7 (Shahzad 55; Irfan 2-26).
Jamoom Fighters beat UT Lines by 18 runs. Jamoom Fighters 194 all out (Azam 28, Qasid 60, Zafar 22, Aslam 29; Nazeer 2-30, Waleed 2-48, Faizan 2-16, Akhtar 2-23). UT Lines 176 all out (Shad 36, Usman 40, Bilal 38; Amir 3-30, Qasid 3-35, Usman 2-41).
Al-Zafer beat Pak Makkah 14 runs. Al-Zafer 153-6 (Asrar 39 not out, Moosa 41; Saqlain 2-35). Pak Makkah 139 all out (Saqlain 27, Makki 33; Fouji 3-22, Samith 2-27, Majid 2-9).
