Search on for 2012 Presidential Awards for Filipinos Overseas The Embassy of the Philippines in Riyadh announced last week the launching of the 2012 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas, a biennial search to recognize exceptional individuals for their outstanding contribution to Philippine progress and development. The awards are also conferred on overseas Filipinos who have shown excellence and distinction in their profession and line of work. Nominations open for Migration Advocacy and Media Awards The Commission on Filipinos Overseas has formally opened the nomination for the 2nd Migration Advocacy and Media Awards (MAMA) for 2012, the Philippine Embassy has announced.
