New Italian chef, menu delight guests at Rosso, Four Seasons Hotel RIYADH — The Four Seasons Hotel in this city has a new Italian chef as well as a new Italian menu that delighted special guests at a launching party on Jan. 30. Greg Pirkle, General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel, welcomed Ambassador of Italy to Saudi Arabia Valentino Simonetti, as well as Lamborghini club members and media persons to enjoy a new modern decor and an exclusive menu at the Rosso restaurant. The new chef from Italy, Marco Terranova, created the menu for the launching party in association with Al Ghassan Motors, which displayed a Lamborghini, McLaren car and Ducati motorcycle. The Sadik Omar Attar company, meanwhile, offered a luxury Tudor watch for the raffle draw as part of the celebration. The party revealed the culinary prowess of the chef, a classically trained expert who is certain to impress dignitaries and the media with his passion for creating native Italian cuisine in the Rosso kitchen. Terranova's special menu consisted of a delectable range of antipasti and cold starters like Tortellino bresaola stuffed with mixed cheese on a bed of Arugula leaves and of skewer of buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomato. Guests journeyed onwards to hot starters like Arancinetti with ricotta and spinach and risotto mushroom, among others. Tempting desserts were also on the menu, including Panna Cota and Tortellini alla Crema. Guests at Rosso will enjoy freshly prepared bread and pizza from the open kitchen's wood-burning oven.
