Published in The Saudi Gazette on 05 - 06 - 2017

the agent of GREE Air Conditioners in Saudi Arabia – participated in the Saudi Energy and Air Conditioning Exhibition 2017 which was held recently at Riyadh International Exhibition and Convention Center. It was attended by a group of experts, specialists and a number of local and international companies in the field of energy and air conditioning.
Eng. Hamed Al Arfaj, Deputy General Manager of Basic Electronics Co., said in a speech at the exhibition, that GREE Air Conditioners are one of the most efficient air conditioners to save electricity and that GREE is making great efforts to develop energy efficient products coinciding with solar energy research for the operation of air conditioners produced by them and that the company has achieved great success in this area.
The company has introduced advanced models of electrically operated air conditioners which are fed from the General Grid power with high-EER (Inverter), as well as models of PV, VRF, which constitute innovative solutions in the field of energy solutions developed by GREE Company.
GREE is also conducting research and development activities at its R&D centers to create a new energy system, the so-called New Energy System, a micro grid energy storage system including photovoltaic power generation, storage, power distribution and control, including installation of equipment and system management (IEMS).
Eng. Al Arfaj said the company›s participation in the exhibition comes as part of its efforts to introduce the latest air conditioning products, its high energy saving capacity and the solutions it seeks to reduce energy consumption to the minimum possible, especially in the field of air conditioning, which consumes about 70% of total electricity consumption in buildings.
"This comes in line with the directives and directions of the government in this area, especially the instructions of the Saudi Arabian Organization for Standardization and Metrology and the Saudi Center for Energy Efficiency in order to obtain the maximum operational efficiency at the lowest possible waste of energy that are the essential concern for decision and policy makers in the Kingdom and the world," he said.
Moreover, "we in Basic Electronics seek to provide effective energy solutions represented by operation of solar-powered air-conditioning of generating energy, storage and using as appropriate technological solutions which is practical for the places where current supply is not possible from the public grid. GREE Company is considered one of the leading companies in this industry in the world." — SG
