RIYADH – Saudi Arabia slammed on Wednesday the deadly bomb blasts that hit Kabul and Baghdad. An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced the Kingdom's strong condemnation and denunciation of the massive suicide car bombing that rocked a highly secure diplomatic area of Kabul, which claimed the lives of 90 people and injury of about 400 others, including women and children. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, the source stressed the importance of concerted efforts to eradicate terrorism and extremism. While reiterating the Kingdom's solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the source offered condolences to the bereaved family members of the victims as well as to the Afghan government and people, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. The official source also expressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of the two explosions that struck Baghdad, which resulted in a number of killings and injuries.
