Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab said that she was never notified of the decision taken by the Egyptian Musician Union to ban her from singing. The decision was made by the Union last week. Shireen stated that intends on going to the Union to find out why such a decision was made against her and if she is really banned from singing or not. The singer noted that the news of the decision had reached her through the media and she read about it in news reports as did everyone else. __
