The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) concluded Thursday the ninth meeting of GCC countries' lawyers and arbitrators under the banner of "New Vision for Better Professional Future". Over 200 Gulf lawyers and arbitrators who represent bar associations, Shariah colleges and senior arbitrators at GCC countries attended the meeting organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers in cooperation with the Business Arbitration Center at Gulf Cooperation Council and hosted by the Committee of Lawyers at JCCI. During the fourth session of the meeting, Zaid Saeed Al-Shamsi, Chairman of UAE Jurists Association, explained how relationships between lawyers and judges can be organized. The fifth session focused on the business disputes and how to resolve them and was presided over by Yaseen Khalid Khayat, chairman of the board of directors of GCC Business Arbitration Center, while the final session dealt with the rehabilitation and training of lawyers and arbitrators in GCC countries and was presided over by Khaled Al-Badi, lawyer, and Dr. Majed Muhammad Garoub, chairman of National Association of Lawyers at the Council of Saudi Chambers. – SG __
