Rubaiyat, the fashion hub of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a small styling event and workshop hosted by Rana Saab, the Middle East's leading stylist and image consultant at Rubaiyat Department Store in Stars Avenue Mall, Jeddah on May 9. Saab made the trip from Dubai to Jeddah where she met in an intimate setting with a group of Rubaiyat's VIP clients and select members of the press to present exciting styling and image tips.
Saab is the founder of Mirror Image Consulting, the first AICI-accredited image training consultancy in the Middle East, and is in the process of establishing its first chapter in Dubai. Her portfolio of clients includes corporate figures, private individuals and celebrities such as Hollywood actress Eva Longoria, Lebanese pop star Ramy Ayache, international diva Haifa Wehbe, singer Shatha Hassoun and more.
Her initial training in wardrobe and style analysis came through the image builder's program for professional consultants at the Image Resource Center of New York. From there, she earned her First Level Certification from AICI and completed her advanced ‘train the trainer' program with AWIS for fashion styling, image and color in Florida.
Taking place in the store's pop-up area, the intimate and interactive gathering began with Saab providing an overview of her experience in the fashion industry before revealing her take on this year's spring season trends and color psychology. She also used mannequins to showcase outfits by Rubaiyat designers, presented styling tips tailored to the audience, performed a live color analysis session, an accessories mix-and-match session, and one-to-one style consultations with the invited guests. The three-hour event wrapped up with a hands-on styling exercise that was followed by a lightly catered reception in which guests were able to socialize with one other and Saab.
Saab's visit to Rubaiyat in Jeddah is just another example of the fashion hub's dedication to providing its customers, both men and women, with the best sartorial services available, which include bespoke suits for men measured and fitted by tailors working for some of the most prestigious business and formal wear houses in Europe.
