Ahmad, Aamir crack tons; ALJ Toshiba amass record 335 in WPCA

JEDDAH — ALJ Toshiba plundered runs at will against depleted Apex Express to amass a record 335 runs in 20 overs. Ahmad of Sadafco and Aamir of ALJ Toshiba hammered tons as Wolves XI's Irfan scored unbeaten 91 and Al Kabbani's Faisal Qayyum smashed 96 in the WPCA Morning T20 Tournament.
Wolves beat Jeddah Tigers by 39 runs. Irfan smashed unbeaten 91 in 59 balls with 14 fours, Nawaz 56 in 32 balls and Zahid 48 as Wolves scored 211 for 2. Jeddah Tigers reached 172 for 8. Sohail made 24 to add 57 with Tahir (39), Saeed 16 and Nanajee 36. Wajid took 2-9 and Nawaz 2-18.
Al Kabbani trounced IDB by 7 wickets. IDB posted 173 for 7. Gulfaham 43, Rizwan 19, Waseem 20, Quddus 27 and Muzammil 18 n.o. contributed. Imran took 2-25 and Luqman 2-36. Al Kabbani then hit 175 for 3 in 97 balls. Faisal Qayyum hammered 96 in 42 balls with 3 sixes and 11 fours, Fiaz Ahmed 25 n.o. and Imran Qaiser 24 stood out.
Sadafco crushed ADI XI by 9 wickets. ADI XI hit 176 for 8. Adil made 53 in 38 balls, Bilal 17 and Nabeel 48. Saqib took 2-27 and Ehtesham 2-40. Ahmad blasted unbeaten 106 in 52 balls with 4 sixes and 13 fours as he first added 104 in 60 balls for the opening stand with Naeem (38) and then 74 with Mudassir Afridi (26 n.o.) as Sadafco made 178 for 1 in 102 balls.
ALJ Toshiba routed Apex Express by 254 runs. ALJ Toshiba racked up 335 for 5. Aamir blasted 104 in 36 balls with 4 sixes and 16 fours, Usman 67 in 20 balls, Zeeshan 23, Bilal 41, Zahid 23, Maqsood 19 n.o. and Aamir 44 n.o. all made merry. Qasim took 2-51. Apex Express was skittled for 81. Mohsin hit 28 and Hisham 16. Tanveer Zamane grabbed 3 for 9, Amir 2-16, Maqsood 2-14 and Bilal 2-18. Al Mazroi downed Royal Brothers by 46 runs. Al Mazroi Salonpas tallied 141 for 8. Faisal hit 53 in 38 balls, Sufiyan 16, Farook 15 and Imran 20 n.o. Saeed had 4 for 24, Abdullah 2-23 and Hamid Khan 2-26. Royal Brothers was restricted to 95. Waqas scored 22. Sufiyan Laheri grabbed 3 for 24.
Arcoma bested Deloitte by 75 runs. Arcoma made 191 for 2. Pervez Abdi hit 75 n.o. off 52 balls with 9 fours as he added 147 in 94 balls with Ayaz Ali, who smashed 70 in 41 balls with 3 sixes and 4 fours. Deloitte managed 116. Owais hit 20, Emad 36 n.o. and Irfan 16. Ismail 2-16, Nabeel 2-19, Akram 2-20 and Mustafa 2-25 shone.
Al Saudi Green thrashed Azizya Elegant by 79 runs. Al Saudi Green plundered 234 for 6. Owais slammed 82 in 36 balls with 5 sixes and 7 fours as he first added 142 in 64 balls with Imran Kidwai, who stroked 54 in 33 balls, and then 64 with Kamran (34). Faisal scored 22. Azizya Elegant was held to 155 for 9. Wajid made 25, Atif 34 and Shahzad 53 in 22 balls. Nadeem Saad took 3 for 31, Adil 3 for 37.
