The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) has recently held a course on real estate court cases focusing on the most important cases in Kingdom's courts. The three-day course was run by Sheikh Yousef Al-Farraj, judge and consultant at the Ministry of Justice and attended by JCCI Secretary-General Adnan Bin Hussain Mandoura. The course dealt with types of title deeds, how to write real estate contracts, legal jurisdiction, settlement of real estate disputes and real estate laws. The course targeted male and female lawyers, legal consultants, engineers, finance experts, directors of human resources departments, legal departments, projects and tenders at big real estate companies and insurance companies. Dr. Majed Garoub, lawyer and president of Saudi Law Training Center, said the Saudi real estate sector has grown in terms of fixed capital by 40 percent. The real estate and construction sector's contribution to the GDP grew from SR41.7 billion in one year to over SR54.5 billion, he pointed out. “This course came amid the growing Saudi real estate market which will grow more in the future, thanks to the boost in Saudi economy and the government's announcement that several economic cities and industrial areas in all regions will be constructed, in addition to the growing demand on real estate as the population increases.” __
