SAUDIA Cargo has signed a trade agreement with the National Aquaculture Group to ship Red Sea Bass fish and shrimp produced in the group's fish farms in Al-Leeth governorate. The fish and shrimps are transported to destinations within the Kingdom and abroad. This agreement is an extension of the successful deals between the two companies during the past period. The total quantity of the group's transported marine products by Saudia Cargo planes during the past two years reached nearly 1,800 tons. Nabil Khoja, CEO of Saudia Cargo confirmed that the company has cumulative capabilities and experience in the field of air cargo enabling it to deal with consignments of special nature, specifically, fish and other marine products. These require great care guaranteeing the arrival of the consignments fresh in the targeted markets. He added that Saudia Cargo is very keen to sign strategic agreements with national companies in different fields so as to benefit from the logistic support solutions and services provided by the company. Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Balla, CEO of the National Aquaculture Group, said that the agreement is a coronation of the cooperation and joint work with Saudia Cargo during the past years in transporting the group's products to various segments of its clients within the Kingdom and abroad. In an another development, Saudia Cargo won the Best International Carrier in Africa for the year. Rayner Muller, vice president for commercial affairs, received the prize during a ceremony that was held recently in Johannesburg, South Africa on the sidelines of the company's participation in the International Exhibition for Air Cargo in South Africa. Saudia Cargo's nomination came on the basis of voting in the specialist cargo transport and industry magazine "Stat Time".
