EMIRATES National Oil Company (ENOC) revealed its ambitious expansion plans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by opening the sixth service station in the Kingdom with the aim to reach up to 14 stations in 2017. The new service station operating 24 hours in Dammam is located on King Khaled Street and is differentiated by its convenience store offerings, incorporates world-class standards of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) processes and procedures and ensures the highest levels of safety standards for customers and their vehicles. Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, said: "We remain committed to our investment in Saudi Arabia as the Kingdom looks to diversify its economy in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 agenda. As the largest Arab economy in the region with one of the highest population growth, we believe there is great potential for the fuel station business, especially as the country's road and transport infrastructure receives a boost from private investment. "ENOC is known for its high safety standards both in its fuel and non-fuel business. We will ensure these stringent standards are met across our network in Saudi Arabia, which will directly benefit customers who frequent our stations." The group plans to solidify its presence in key areas and highways by increasing the number of service stations in KSA from five to 14 station during the current year, taking into account the evaluation of new sites to widen its network of stations in the coming years. The new stations include 2 in Riyadh and 7 in the East of the Kingdom covering Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa, Saihat and Dammam. Customers visiting ENOC's Dammam service station will be able to access different facilities including prayer rooms, a 2,238 square feet ZOOM convenience store, offering customers best in class products Pronto – a F&B offering by ENOC offering fresh baked goods and coffee on the go; AutoPro oil-change and service; ProWash car washing facilities; and additional F&B offerings by international franchisees Burger King and Papa Johns. The service station in Dammam provides all fuel-related services and offers Special 91 and Super 95 gasoline. With four pump dispensers, the service station also features several energy saving technologies such as full LED lights which will reduce energy consumption by 50 per cent. In the UAE, ENOC Group is aiming to grow its fuel retail business by 40 per cent until 2020.
