Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, delivered the Friday sermon at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah this week. This was the first time Sheikh Al-Sudais delivered the Friday sermon from the pulpit of the Prophet's Mosque. Since his appointment as the imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah 33 years ago, he occasionally led regular prayers and offered monthly religious lessons at the Madinah mosque. Earlier attending a function in Madinah on Wednesday, Al-Sudais said the Haramain satellite channel, under the consideration of the Ministry of Culture and Information, would go on air soon.
