14th Saudi PPPP opens on a high note

JEDDAH — Following to the success of previous editions, the largest Saudi industrial gathering was inaugurated Monday (Feb. 27) in the presence of Eng. Saleh S. Al-Sulami, Deputy Minister for Industrial Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources; Abdulrahman bin Saleh Alfalih, executive VP of SABIC, at the Jeddah Center for Forum and Events.
The 14th edition of the Saudi Print & Pack and Saudi Plastics and Petrochemicals shows, organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company, are conducted in light of the recent government directions to enhance public/private partnerships, encourage, support and attract foreign investments.
The events offer an annual opportunity for the decision makers and key official to meet and discuss ways to upgrade the industrial sector in the Kingdom by highlighting the unique opportunities for manufacturing to local, regional and international companies.
Al-Sulami expressed delight in the participation of local and global companies and the well-organized gathering. He also said that having this edition in Jeddah highlights the strategic importance of the Western region.
He concluded by highlighting the significance of conducting specialized events such as the Saudi Print & Pack and Saudi Plastics and Petrochemicals, which are considered the main supporters for the industrial development through showcasing local capabilities and the market demands related to these industries which are witnessing exponential growth.
The Saudi PPPP, conducted under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, received the diamond sponsorship from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and a platinum sponsorship from Saudi Polymers and the participation of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) as an industrial partner. The four-day event will conclude on March 2.
This year the show gathers more than 318 local and regional companies from more than 20 countries, and expected to attract thousands of industry experts, offers the ideal platform for companies to showcase its products, services and the latest technologies and trends to keep pace with the global developments. This would help them to maintain their operations and expansion in one of the biggest markets in the region. The show also exhibits several workshops delivered by specialists to shed light on technical issues related to these industries.
