JEDDAH — Pakistan Welfare Society (PWS), a social and welfare organization formed by Pakistani expatriates here, will hold its regular free medical camp (#274) on Friday (March 3) at Pakistan Consulate from 1600 hours to 1900 hours and an eye clinic will from 1600 hours to 1700 hours. Speaking to Saudi Gazette, camp in-charge Mohammad Younus Sattar stated that the team of specialist doctors would check the patients and free medicines would be provided to needy patients. Ultrasound and Echo of Heart will be done on the advice of doctors. Free blood sugar testing will be provided. Meanwhile, Dr. Rabia Khatoon, in-charge ladies wing, announced that like last year this year PWS would continue following projects: 1st Project. We will distribute new unstitched clothes male and female as an Eid gift to underprivileged patients of medical camp at the end of April. Those who want to contribute please let me know. 2nd Project. Please collect old clothes in good condition washed and ironed in plastic packing. We will collect it during our biweekly medical camp. This is a continuous project and clothes will be sent to Pakistan. ** Kindly avoid sending used shoes, torn dirty clothes or undergarments. 3rd Project. Ramadan pack for patients at medical camp, which includes rice, oil, dates, wheat flour, chickpeas and its flour. ** You can send money instead, PWS will buy edibles according to patients' needs. ** If you have unused medicines (tablets and capsules) with good expiry date, you can donate it to PWS for\tnight camp.
