MBSC appoints Dr. Nabeel Koshak as executive dean

PRINCE Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC), Saudi Arabia's first institute of higher education, specializing in leadership and entrepreneurial development, has announced the appointment of Dr. Nabeel Koshak as the Executive Dean of the College.
Dr. Koshak will be leading the development and implementation of MBSC's strategy as well as the management and oversight of the College's academic programs and operational functions, in accordance with the best global standards and practices in collaboration with Babson Global (a subsidiary of Babson College, the highest ranked Entrepreneurship College in the United States)
"Dr. Koshak combines the highest academic credentials with a wealth of business and entrepreneurial experience, which makes him an invaluable addition to the MBSC leadership team," said Fahd Al-Rasheed, Vice Chairman of MBSC's Board of Trustees. "His long-standing contribution and commitment to the local and global entrepreneurial eco-systems will further solidify MBSC as a prominent institution of entrepreneurial leadership in Saudi Arabia that will actively contribute towards human capital development and the realization of Vision 2030".
"MBSC will play an important role in developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, providing a world class teaching methodology from Babson College that is delivered by internationally respected faculty," said Dr. Koshak. "I am excited by the challenge ahead and look forward to working with my new colleagues to deliver on the ambitious goals of MBSC."
Dr. Koshak received his Ph.D., in Computational Design in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002, Master's in Architecture from the University of Colorado in 1997, and his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University in 1993.
Dr. Koshak is the former Vice President of Business & Innovation at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Makkah Company. Dr. Koshak sits on numerous boards, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Makkah Venture Capital and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Wadi Makkah Startup Accelerator.
He also served as an advisor at the Space Research Institute in King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), and an Executive Director of the KACST Technology Innovation Center. Dr. Koshak is also a member of the Board of Directors of Mawhiba, the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, as well as an Executive Committee Member at King Faisal International Prize.
Dr. Koshak comes with vast experience in the field of Entrepreneurship, having founded and launched numerous innovation and technology companies.
