ZAIN Saudi Arabia took part in the Communication and Information Technology Commission Forum 2017 which was held at the CITC headquarters in Riyadh. The forum was attended by Dr. Mohammed Al-Suwaiyel, Minister of Communication and Information Technology; Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Rwais, CITC Governor; and Dr. Ghassan Al-Sulaiman Governor of SME Authority, among others. In a presentation during the forum, Abdulmajid Al-Rashoudi, Chief Customer Care Officer at Zain Saudi Arabia, discussed the company's strive to play its role in the sector's development plan in line with Vision 2030, while providing all the needed support to achieve the strategic goals of the National Transformation Plan (NTP 2020). Al-Rashoudi added that long- term partnerships with SMEs comes within Zain's main interests in order to reach the goal of a knowledge based economy, and according to Al-Rashoudi, Zain has the needed infrastructure to succeed in this transformation. Zain CCCO then stressed out that the future of telecommunication relies on integration with other sectors, working with partners from different specialties, and providing innovative solutions for the digital transformation.
