Saudi Gazette CAIRO — An Egyptian factory owner surprised his employees with a day out to a theme park to reward them for their hard work. Abdo Zana, a 27-year-old factory owner, telephoned his employees one day in the morning and asked them not to start work and wait till he arrived. The workers, anticipating a crisis and potential layoffs, were instead treated to a day out at Cairo's largest theme park, Dream Park, reported Youm7, an Egyptian daily. "The current situation was such that the workers hardly smiled. They were all frustrated, especially since they had no time to themselves. They would only focus on working and earning a living," said Zana. "I told them that I felt their suffering because life is expensive and full of pressures and that I wanted to do something to change the mood. We ate breakfast together, closed the factory and then went to Dream Park in the factory buses. It was one of the best days we spent together. We were all happy and we played, laughed and enjoyed ourselves. We had a lot of fun. I was the happiest person ever," he said. "Those workers are my capital, they benefit my factory because of their sweat and hard work," he added. Employees at Dream Park were surprised by the visit so early in the morning.
