The Ministry of Commerce and Industry plans to tackle rising prices by forcing importers to place price tags, which include only a small profit, on their products, before they can receive their government subsidies. The Ministry of Finance will implement the plan, said Abdullah Al-Uqail, Undersecretary for Internal Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. This will allow the ministry to keep track of prices in the country, the official added. In addition, the ministry has created centers for handling complaints and for proposals and ideas from consumers and businesspeople. Al-Uqail said the ministry will study the suggestions to help improve its services and performance. __
