The 7th Session of the Shoura Council held on Monday its first sitting in the first year of activities. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman inaugurated the Council's activities for the session last Wednesday. The meeting, chaired by the Council President Sheikh Abdullah Al-Asheikh, formed various specialized committees, comprising chairman, deputy chairman and members. From women members, Dr. Muna Al-Moshait was chosen as chairperson of the Health Committee. There are five women who were named as deputy heads of different committees. The following are the chairman and deputy chairman of each committee respectively: - The Islamic and Judicial Affairs Committee: Abdul Aziz Al-Isa and Dr. Wasel Al-Modhn; Health Committee: Dr. Muna Al-Moshait and Dr. Abdullah Al-Otaibi; Economy and Energy Committee: Abdul Rahman Al-Rashed and Dr. Noorah Bint Yousef; Security Affairs Committee: Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Saadoon and Ata Al-Sibaiti; Foreign Affairs Committee: Dr. Zuhair Al-Harthi and Huda Al-Haleesi; Management and Human Resources Committee: Eng. Mohammed Al-Nagadi and Dr. Maaedi Al-Qahtani; Education and Scientific Research Committee: Dr. Nasser Al-Musa and Dr. Abdullah Al-Gighaiman; and Haj, Housing and Services Committee: Eng. Mufreh Al-Zahrani and Dr. Ayman Fadhel. Culture, Information, Tourism and Antiquities Committee: Dr. Fayez Al-Shihri and Dr. Fatma Al-Qarni; Finance Committee: Osama Al-Rabeea and Dr. Fahd bin Jumaa; Human Rights and Control Agencies Committee: Assaf Abu Thonain and Dr. Nihad Al-Jeshi; Water, Agriculture and Environment Committee: Eng. Abbas Hadi and Dr. Saud Al-Ruwaili; Transport, Communications and IT Committee: Dr. Saadoon Al-Saadoon and Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hargan; and Social Affairs, Family and Youths Committee: Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan and Dr. Mastoorah Al-Shammari.
