Sewage trucks empty their loads in an underground tank in Rehab District, while overflowing sewage water stagnates on the intersection of Prince Miteb and Labbah Streets in Jeddah recently. — SG photos by Syed Mujahid Ali By Syed Mujahid Ali Zaidi Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Labbah Street in Rehab District here is one of the areas where sewage trucks empty treated waste water into an underground tank on an open plot, which often overflows. The treated water then spreads across the intersection near the Saudi British Bank (SABB) on Prince Miteb (Arbaeen) Road. The water often stagnates on the road for days. The area becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes and disease-bearing insects, while speeding cars splash the waste water on to pedestrians and parked cars. __
