The ramifications of the Arab Spring are still being felt today and will perhaps continue to be a hot issue in the Arab and global media for a long time. Unprecedented political events have taken place as a result of the Arab Spring. Some Arabs revolted against their dictatorial republican regimes which wanted to enslave people and prolong their stay in power for as long as possible. There are several aspects of the Arab Spring, the most important of which are: Causes and motives behind the development of events, political consequences and dimensions for those interested in Arab world affairs and future trends. Countries in the region, especially Turkey, Iran and Israel, have adopted their own positions towards the Arab Spring. In this column, we will talk briefly about the position of the Zionist entity on the Arab Spring. Generally speaking, the Zionist entity is against the Arab Spring, especially if it results in removing the heads of dictatorial republics who were supportive of US policy in the region. Israel does not want to see governments, which represent their people and adopt and support local and regional causes, give these causes priority over others. Israel does not want to see governments which develop their countries to be able to achieve the goals of the Arab people. Israel opposes the Arab Spring because it is against Israel's expansion policy. Israel's policies towards Arabs seek to cause their death and destruction, nothing else. That is why Israel and its allies tried to nip these revolutions in the bud to suppress any positive results and to magnify negative results. Israel goes along with the Arab Spring if it brings negative results and is against it if it brings positive results for the Arab world. That is to say that if revolutions end with the establishment of regimes similar to the previous ones, the result will be disastrous for the Arab world and fortuitous for Israel, no matter if thousands of lives are sacrificed. There are perhaps a few Israelis who would love to see the Arab Spring result in democratic regimes which establish relations and make peace with Israel. But the Israeli government maintains an arrogant and hostile position towards peace and the resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Perhaps the position of the US and its major Western allies on major Arab developments is similar to some extent to the Israeli position on the Arab Spring, although the US position is different in some aspects and deserves to be analyzed.
