Their talks covered mainly the fraternal relations between the two countries and areas of cooperation in various fields. They also reviewed the latest developments on the regional and global arenas, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Earlier, King Salman was accorded a warm reception at the palace on the occasion of the start of his official visit to Bahrain. An official welcome ceremony was held during which King Hamad decorated King Salman with the Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa Order of the First Class. King Salman and King Hamad took part in a traditional Ardah dance staged by the Bahraini artists on the occasion. King Hamad hosted a banquet dinner in honor of the Saudi monarch. The reception was also attended by Bahrain's Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, and Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
